I taught myself over the past 10 months or so. I learned using the reference files that I downloaded from the Discreet website. Hope this helps. It takes a bit of time to get used to, but be patient and you'll get it. good luck.

You just learned from the reference files from the discreet site? wow. I should look at those. I actually downloaded something called the "3DS Max 6 Bible" but havent looked at it much yet.
